Jul 16, 2023 Are you passionate about engineering and ensuring the reliability of manufacturing components, equipment, and processes? We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, measuring, analyzing, and implementing plans and procedures to ensure reliability in our operations.
Day-to-Day Role:
- Follow safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company quality standards.
- Manage and prioritize projects of moderate size, scope, and duration.
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and designers.
- Develop and maintain a life cycle asset management process.
- Facilitate Reliability Centered Maintenance studies to develop maintenance strategies.
- Utilize failure mode and effects analysis techniques.
- Monitor performance of equipment systems and upgrade maintenance programs as needed.
- Investigate root causes for damage and failure rates.
- Lead change in equipment risk management and reliability processes.
- Review and propose design modifications for reliability and efficiency.
- Acquire and utilize tools and resources for reliability and maintenance improvement.
- Identify and develop useful solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve equipment, processes, and products.
- Test and implement engineering solutions.
- Establish continuous improvement plans.
Core Skills and
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 3 years of related experience, OR- Associate's degree and 9 years of related experience.
- Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs, Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and Reliability Centered Maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of engineering science and technology.
- Proficiency in mathematics and design techniques.
- Familiarity with raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
