Responsibilities:
- Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order - Patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity and respond to calls for service - Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and make arrests as necessary - Provide assistance and support to victims of crime or other emergencies - Write detailed reports documenting incidents and actions taken - Serve as a visible presence in the community, building relationships with residents and businesses - Participate in community outreach programs and events Requirements for Entry Level Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent (AA Degree or higher preferred) - Ability to successfully complete a certified police academy training program - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation, including criminal history check, drug screening, polygraph examination, and psychological evaluation.
- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to meet minimum physical standards for law enforcement officers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
- Ability to take orders and follow commands for directed activity.
(Veteran of US Military is a plus) Job Type:
